Screening Process

The credibility of our firm rests entirely on the quality of our experts. For this reason, our screening process is a rigorous, non-negotiable mandate designed to identify professionals who possess a rare combination of analytical depth, practical experience, and communication clarity.

Stage 1

Qualification & Reputation Verification

This initial phase moves beyond a simple resume review. We conduct an independent verification of all academic credentials, professional certifications, and employment history. We also undertake a comprehensive review of a candidate’s public record and professional standing, including publications, speaking engagements, and past testimony. This stage is designed to establish a baseline of unimpeachable qualifications.

Stage 2

Methodological & Analytical Review

A candidate’s qualifications are meaningless without the ability to apply them effectively. In this stage, our senior internal team, along with trusted external specialists, assesses the candidate’s analytical frameworks. We review past work products—such as expert reports or published research—to evaluate the rigor, logic, and defensibility of their approach. We are looking for a clear command of established methodologies and the intellectual honesty to acknowledge their limitations.

Stage 3

Effectiveness & Communication Assessment

The final stage evaluates an expert’s ability to perform in a high-stakes environment. This is the most critical filter. We analyze past deposition and trial transcripts to assess their clarity, composure, and resilience under cross-examination. For advisory roles, we conduct deep-dive interviews to gauge their ability to synthesize complex information and provide concise, actionable counsel. An expert is only admitted to our network if they demonstrate the ability to not just be right, but to be effective.
